Evaluation
Wings of Morpheus Evaluation
The project that we have been set is about steam puck and is called Wings of Morpheus. I have been told to create a character based on a steam puck design.
When researching ideas for my character I used Google images a lot searching for steam puck things that match the character I wanted. I wanted an evil character that had a mechanical leg and arm. The arm is meant to be a small tesla gun built in to the arm.
I think that I have some skill in Photoshop as I am able to create a character out of images off of the Internet and make them into a character. But in saying that I think that in some bits of my work on illustrator are not as good as it is in Photoshop the lines are not perfect on it and the darker bits look rushed (they were because I needed to get it finished).
The final result of the character I think is good I didn’t expect much because it is my first proper design on Photoshop and illustrator but I think that it went well of the first time. If I didn’t work as slow I think it would have been better so next time I should work faster to improve on my work.
To create all of this I used Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. I learnt a lot of new skills like how to stretch and bend images to fit me so that it would look wright on the pose that I had. I learnt how to add different effects on my image to make it look darker.
I think that the gas mask that I put on went well with my character but the robotic arm position I did not think that it worked well and it did not look like a robotic arm. However I thort the rest of my character went well.
